The need for personal dwelling spaces have become necessary as people look for ways to express who they are in their homes and what they are selling in their businesses.
Nothing speaks of beauty and a piece of the heart as a personally designed abode does.
Q: What inspires you to seek out clients who could benefit from your service?
E.M. : I strongly believe there is a significant opportunity for construction project management (CPM) services here in the Philippines. Many clients still view CPM as an added cost, but in truth, if implemented properly, it saves both time and money. The challenge is that, during proposal discussions, the first question often revolves around lowering our fees instead of understanding the value of the service we provide.
Despite this, we remain steadfast in building our brand as a reputable and reliable CPM firm. The industry has long been plagued by poor professional practices by some. That’s why we are determined to be different—to offer a service grounded in integrity, excellence, and God-centered values. That is what motivates us to push harder every day and eventually stand alongside the more established CPM firms in the country.
We are also entering a new phase where we will begin offering Project Development Consultancy and Management—designed specifically for clients who are looking for a reputable team to help create more value from their assets. Whether it’s unlocking development potential or helping them realize their goals, we aim to guide clients in maximizing their asset’s full potential and turning vision into reality.
Q: What is the best compliment you’ve received so far?
E.M. : One of the best compliments I’ve received was from a client who messaged me after I had thanked her for the opportunity to work together. She said, “Thank you as well—for your service, your humility, and your willingness to learn and grow with us. I know a good person when I see and meet one. And you are one good person and fine gentleman…” That meant a lot to me because it validated not just our work, but also the heart and attitude we bring into every project.
Q: Does working with family help your business grow?
E.M. : Absolutely. Working with family has been a big support system, especially when facing challenges or navigating critical decisions. There’s a unique kind of understanding and trust that naturally exists, and that’s been a real advantage in building and running the business.
Q: How do you resolve disagreements within the family when it comes to the business?
E.M. : Disagreements are natural in any family-run business. What I’ve learned is that there has to be one clear voice leading the company to avoid confusion among the team. For us, we set regular family meetings—usually every other week—to address any concerns or differences in opinion.
At the end of the day, it comes down to trust and respect. As the one handling the company’s day-to-day operations, I need to honor and consider the insights and perspectives of my parents, while also making sure decisions align with our long-term vision and operational direction.
✅ What Would Convince Me to Hire a Professional Construction Project Manager (CPM)
Peace of Mind & Accountability | I want someone to look after the project from start to finish—someone who will represent my interest, not just the contractor’s. If a CPM firm can show how they can protect my budget, timeline, and quality goals, I’d be highly interested. |
Clear Value Beyond Cost | I need to see that this isn’t just another layer of cost, but an investment that can save money and avoid problems. If you can present past case studies showing real savings or prevented issues, that’s powerful. |
Single Point of Coordination | Coordinating architects, engineers, suppliers, LGUs, and contractors is chaotic. If your firm can demonstrate how you professionally handle this complexity, that would be a huge value-add. |
Transparency and Professionalism | I want clear documentation, regular updates, no under-the-table dealings, and professionals who communicate well. In the Philippine context, where shady dealings are unfortunately common, showing that your firm works with integrity is a major plus. |
Track Record and Reputation | If your past clients or projects are known or if you can provide referrals I can call, I’ll feel more confident. Real, local experience in similar projects is gold. |
Aligned Vision and Culture | If you understand my goals—not just technically but personally or culturally (ex: family home vs. commercial investment)—and you work with values I align with (faith-based, sustainable, etc.), that would strongly influence my decision. |
Q: What is the newest development you are working on?
E.M. : The latest project we’ve secured is a cold storage and warehouse facility located in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines. This is my first time personally managing a cold storage facility project, and so far, going through the plans and initiating the pre-construction and bidding processes has been a valuable learning experience for me and my team.
We’re genuinely excited about the opportunities this project presents. It will certainly challenge us and push us to grow further in our professional capabilities. Our mission has always been to build better lives, and we are fully committed to delivering this—both to our clients and to all stakeholders involved.
